Atlantic Kelp harvested in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine. Also known as Norwegian kelp, knotted kelp, knotted wrack or egg wrack. Kelp is rich in iodine, and various macro and micronutrients, and has a salty taste (kelp naturally contains about 4-8% Sodium chloride). Powdered kelp is ideal for encapsulation or use in green juices/smoothies. Kelp is also used as plant food/fertilizer.
