Nettle leaf, also called Urtica dioica, has been used for many centuries. It’s known for the stinging hairs that grow on the stems and leaves, and it can be used as a dry leaf, freeze-dried, or extracted into tablets, juices, and teas. High in Vitamin C & antioxidants.

Nettle is also called stinging nettle because of the tiny hairs that project from the perimeter of the fresh leaf that “sting” the skin on contact. When cooked or dried, however, these stingers fall to the wayside.
