Green rooibos tea has 50% more antioxidants that green tea so it packs a punch on the healthy tea. Amazing for glowing skin. Green Rooibos is obtained from the same shrubby South African plant that all other rooibos teas come from. The difference between them is in the level of fermentation. While other varieties of rooibos are exposed to oxidation, green rooibos tea undergoes a drying process right after harvesting that inhibits oxidation and reduces bitter tannins while preserving antioxidants. The result is a bold tasting tea that is naturally sweet and smooth whether served hot or cold. Commonly called bush tea, and is naturally caffeine-free. This is a great beauty tea which is great for the skin with packed full of polyphenols (antioxidants). Rooibos brews similar to black tea (with a similar color), but a more mellow cup. Has reputed health benefits due to high concentration of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Recommended brewing: 1 teaspoon tea per 8 oz boiling water. Steep 3-5 minutes at 190-212°F (87-100°C).
